Refund Policy.

This Refund Policy explains how refunds apply to AIAA membership applications, the AUD 75 position hold, membership fees, events and other AIAA services. It forms part of the Terms of Use.

1. AUD 75 position hold

Founding Professional membership applications reserve a position with an AUD 75 position hold.

• The AUD 75 position hold is fully refundable if your application is not accepted.
• If your application is accepted, the AUD 75 is deducted from your first year's membership fee.
• Once accepted, the hold is non-refundable, as a commitment to your founding position.

2. Membership and other fees

Cancellation, transfer and refund conditions displayed during an application, registration or purchase form part of the Terms of Use.

Unless otherwise stated before purchase, fees are not refundable merely because you:

• change your mind;
• no longer require the service;
• fail to attend an event;
• fail to access available materials;
• fail to complete a programme or assessment;
• do not achieve a desired result; or
• cease to satisfy membership or credential requirements.

AIAA may consider requests arising from exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis. Supporting documentation may be required.

3. Events

If AIAA cancels an event or makes a material change that prevents you from participating, AIAA may offer a transfer, credit, alternative delivery or refund, subject to applicable law and any event-specific terms.

4. Your consumer rights

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any refund, replacement, resupply, cancellation or other remedy to which you are entitled under the Australian Consumer Law or another applicable law.
