The standard for the AI era.

Australia possesses many of the ingredients necessary to succeed in the AI era — a highly educated workforce, world-class research, mature digital infrastructure, and access to leading technologies. What it lacks is a dedicated institution focused on practical AI adoption, workforce capability, accreditation, and standards of practice.

AIAA exists to fill that gap. Our mandate is not to sell membership but to confer it. Standing is earned, verifiable, and current. Employers, regulators and the public should be able to identify a practitioner accountable to a defined standard.

The opportunity is national. Modelling indicates accelerated AI adoption could generate more than A$1.5 trillion in economic value over the next five years. None of it will be realised by access to technology alone — it requires people, judgement and trustworthy practice.
